When designing for a digital audience, it’s important to have an understanding of the specific medium and platform on which the design will live to be able to create a design that stands out from the competition.

See my work below in Video, Web Design, Email, Social Media, and Advertisements.

Digital Assets:

Video

Video editing and creation is something I find great interest in. I have had the opportunity to dabble in the process and work with both downloaded video templates and creations completely designed and animated by me. I used Adobe Premiere, Premiere Rush, and most often After Effects to achieve these videos and more.

Digital Assets:

Web Design | Envise

While I have supported other web endeavors in the past, the Envise website was the first opportunity I had to retain full responsibility for the design and structure. I worked with an in-house web developer to capture the look and feel of the site. Pages contained an animated sine wave at the top over the header images and a parallax scrolling quote bubble pattern mid-page.

Digital Assets:

Email

I have had the opportunity to work on many email campaigns which were usually structured through Mail Chimp. These three examples were emails I was able to design the structure of in Adobe Illustrator and then collect the pieces into a table that contained hyperlinks.

Digital Assets:

Social Media

I supported our communications team with social posts for holidays, events, and announcements. The goal was to create graphics that would stand out on someone’s timeline and grab attention. More recently I have begun to work on animated graphics which have shown to work to improve impressions and retention.

Digital Assets:

Employee Engagement

During the switch from working in offices to working from home, I devised some fun employee surveys using Microsoft Forms to gauge what people were listening to and what they were watching. I then turned the results into fun and appealing graphics to share with the company on the all-company Yammer page.

Digital Assets:

Advertisements

Quite a lot of how you approach the market with a company like Envise is within publications and event programs. This nontraditional approach is generally to protect the perception of the company as they worked on higher dollar projects than the “Man in a Van” type companies.
